2021 the year twenty twenty one
January 2021
HCA Project 1
I started the year with a collaboration with Sound of Art Gallery, HCA Hospice Care and The Life Art in a fundraiser campaign.
I was given free rein right from the start for concept and execution. In line with the beneficiary's objective of administering help and care, I embarked on a journey of reflection, love and marriage and generational blessings to remembering and a recount of blessings in life.
Get ready for Chinese New Year with our limited edition charity masks!
The Remembrance series is a collection of five artworks painted by Sound of Art artist Glacy Soh with patients from HCA Hospice Care, celebrating the seasons of life.
We have adapted these meaningful artworks as designs for a *limited edition collection* of face masks.
Wear these beautiful print masks for a good cause during your CNY visiting!
All proceeds go to HCA Hospice Care , Singapore’s largest home hospice care provider.

HCA Project 2
April 2021
There is a kind soul who is donating $25000 to HCA Hospice Care for 5 pieces of my work. As of June 1, 2021, the status is still WIP. I have completed my paintings, now awaiting for measures to ease so that I can work with the patients at the Hospice.
20 July, 2021. All 5 paintings have been delivered. The whole process of coming out with the ideas, the composition and the final execution, had been truly meaningful. I have enjoyed every bit. Thank you so much for the opportunity.
MAY 2021
COLLABORATION WITH SOUTH OF ART GALLERY AND FEI YUE COMMUNITY SERVICES
I am just so glad that I can be of help. I pray that favour will be bestowed on this project. May God touch kind souls to come forward and bid generously for the artworks. The funds raised are for Fei Yue’s work for vulnerable seniors and children.
Sound of Art is partnering with Fei Yue for a charity art auction, in celebration of their 30th anniversary in supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged communities in Singapore.
As part of our company mission to help impact society through art, we have put up for auction a beautiful range of faith-inspired artwork by our artists from all over Asia.
Bid on these original artworks, and your contribution will benefit Fei Yue's fundraising campaign for these initiatives:
1. 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 (𝐄𝐈𝐏𝐈𝐂)
- To fund the Occupational and Speech Theraphy for low income children with special needs
- Emergency support fund to cover essentials like bus transport fares
2. 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬 (𝐀𝐀𝐂)
- Breakfast for low-income seniors
- Emergency support fund to purchase grocery funds or rations
Besides our art auction, there is also a charity film screening and dining at social enterprise restaurants.

Freedom Mask
When I took the step to seriously embark on my art journey 6 years ago, I didn’t know what to expect. At 50 something something then, the family was pleased cos it kept me occupied. Yep, empty nester. The many pockets of time I have, I painted and painted and the orders and opportunities came. Honestly, I don’t know how, suffice for me to say they “dropped from heaven”!!! #TGBTG
Today, I give thanks for another BIG DROP that came my way. This time, in collaboration with Sound of Art Gallery and Fei Yue Community Services, my Paravanda Nelson Mandela Orchid painting was picked as a design for a campaign. Called “Freedom Mask” because of association with President Mandela and Fei Yue’s community work with vulnerable seniors and children, this mask will be part of a promo pack for “Fei Yue’s Toast to 30 Fundraiser”. Details will be posted shortly.
Praying really hard for God’s favour in this.

ART FUNDRAISER
This project weighs heavy in my heart. Contributing a few works and hoping that they will be able to gain favour such that they can be sold. This art auction is organised by Sound of Art Gallery, The Life Art and Hagar International.

The “Home>>Afghan” Fundraiser has been moved to Nov 27. What weighs heavy in my heart is the plight of the women and children there and what I can do to help? Putting up paintings to raise funds is the easiest part, the hardest is getting people to buy. I set a minimum bid price when I do auctions and I am so totally over the moon to inform that as of this morning, all 3 pieces of my work for this Fundraiser have received their first bid. If you feel led and are interested to bid , please contact Samantha at +6583515088.
posted this day October 31, 2021
ALL three pieces have been sold. Hope on the Horizon secured $3500, Lilies of the Valley at $800 and Consider the Wilderness at $1200, a total of S$5500!
I want to thank the buyers for the support and love.
May God Bless your kind hearts richly.

Beacon of Hope Fundraiser 2021
Giving begets giving ... the simple gift of 2 paintings led to many generous hearts to give without expecting. The giftings will bring new hope to those who may not have what we sometimes take for granted - a home, a loving home, a loving home as a family. With the passing of 12.12, we close the auction of those 2 art pieces. Thank you so much.
We may have met our fundraising goal but that does not signal the end for us. If you feel led to give, please use this link
